[When Larry smiles like that he really shows his age and when those bird toes stick out Freddy can't help but fucking fall in love with the whole package. But wait a second! He's got to quirk a brow again.]
[How often is age truly on Freddy's mind? Sometimes it's the old man's on insecurities that bring it to the foreground. Or the simple things of being raised in very separate decades.]
Don't you have to be unwilling for it to be kidnapping? I don't think a guy like that would let you go so easy. I mean, maybe he's a bullshitter.
[No maybes. Mr. White had them in there as though he was an old hand.]
[Truly in what ways? The old man snuck into an Elvis show once. He has stories and adventures from a time when Freddy wasn't even alive and Freddy loves to hear them. It's not something to be ignored because it's part of what makes Lawrence Dimick. The age, his number, his generation, all of that is what it is, what it ain't is any cause for concern. At least Freddy tries to live this way, the only time it'll concern him is when his body starts breaking down sooner than Freddy's but that's presuming they're even together that far down the road. Sometimes he's not sure if it's sweet to imagine it or just naive.]
I guess...but I'm pretty sharp too. I know what's what, like when some other guy wants to keep me all to his fuckin' self. [aka. You, Mr. White. He nudges his elbow lightly into Larry's side.]
[His body is aged, some of his awareness for issues are skewed. Then again, what isn't with Lawrence Dimick. The kid sticks around him knowing that he's put a few bodies in bags. It's a strange, select sort of apprehension. Sometimes he doesn't understand Freddy's generation or just how involved he is in those comics, movies and games. All he's gotta understand is that without them the kid would be unhappy. Everyone has their own tastes, the old man thinks privately now and then about how they'll change up with age and experience.
He would love to be there for that. Tomorrow would be just as good.]
Sorry. When I hear you got passed around like a good blunt... you are worth keepin'. I'm a greedy guy. You don't need him. He'll give you the runaround.
Hey. I did a little lickin' and rollin' but I wasn't gettin' passed around. Shit I was dealin'.
[How do you like that kind of talk, Lawrence Dimick? You stick around Freddy Newendyke knowing he's booked guys like you for a living too. It works both ways. None of that's at the forefront of his mind right now even though it's always present somewhere in his mind. He gives the old man another lean and bump.]
You seem like a super cool guy yourself. I'll take your word for it.

No wonder everybody wants you. The super heroes and that asshole you were talking about. Come on home with me. You won't regret it.
[Bump, lean and he slips it to a grind even though he's got nothing left in him. Seems like Freddy could go on like this for hours.]
